A strong and active volunteer organization, Friends of Pathstone, has served residents in our community since 1937. Whether by raising funds in support of projects big and small or by lending their time to bring activities and joy to our residents, volunteers help us make our community the best it can be for the people we serve. That’s why we’re always looking for more volunteers like you.

A Positive Impact on Our Community

Fundraising initiatives supported by our volunteers benefit our residents, the work of our care teams, and our campus-wide community in many ways.

  • Starting the Pathstone Café
  • Purchasing medical and therapy equipment
  • Beautification of the courtyards
  • Supporting our mission
  • Updating of Adult Day services building and amenities

A Sampling of Our Volunteer Opportunities

  • A variety of activities from Bingo and crafts to card games and board games
  • Assisting with parties and other events for residents
  • Writing for the Pen Pal Program or our Resident Writers group
  • One-to-one visits and walks with residents
  • Being a Compassionate Companion
  • Fundraising for special events to support Pathstone, such as: Scandinavian Experience, Purse Party, and Cards for a Cause
