The session will be led by Pastor Ron Gerl of Ecumen, who will share highlights of a recruitment and training program at the Ecumen Parmly LifePointes community. Joining him will be baby boomer volunteer Dave Ronvang, a former pilot for Northwest Airlines, and I will also be sharing insights from our Ecumen Age Wave study as it relates to engaging new volunteers, particularly baby boomers.Ecumen’s Mary Cordts and Patricia McArdle will lead a session today at 2 p.m. called: Living Well … Aging Well that will discuss wellness and what they have learned through their work at the Vitalize Wellness Centre at Ecumen’s Parmly LifePointes community.At 3:30 today, Wendy Gordon, director of nutrition services at Ecumen’s Emmanuel Community in Detroit Lakes, Minn., will present on giving menus a healthy, creative, effective overhaul.Yesterday Ecumen’s regional director of finance Sue Koivisto and vice president of finance Scott Riddle presented on enhancing financial performance in aging services.
