THE STAFF WERE VERY NICE

I liked my visit to Ecumen Seasons at Apple Valley. They have one bedrooms and two bedrooms. It was very nicely appointed. The restaurant looked nice. They have a cafe, a movie theater, a salon & spa, a learning center, a library, and a chapel. It's located in a very nice area. They have outings and such, but if you have a car, you can easily get around quickly. Otherwise, you can get services all done there. The staff were very nice and helpful.

SCHEDULE A TOUR

I went for a tour of independent living plus but if I need assisted living right now, I could stay in the same unit. It's a stay-in-place service structure. It was very clean, very attractive, and quiet. It seemed to have all the aspects that you might want in independent living. It's modern and impressive. They had a nice park on one side of the building. They had a walkway around it, which is excellent. It's a nice strolling place for people to be out without crossing any streets. The host gave me a comprehensive tour. She was respectful, very prompt, and very attentive.

– JudyA very welcoming atmosphere from the time I walked in and every time I contacted them. Since my mom lives in Florida, I took pictures to bring down to show her. The neighborhood just felt like what she wanted to live in. There are lots of different daily activities, and she can buy meals if she wants to. It just fits what we were looking for. And we're not paying for things that she currently doesn't need. That was one of my biggest things. I didn't want to pay for meals if my mom wasn't going to use them. She still cooks for herself.

VERY NICE, WELL MAINTAINED

I just got a really good feeling when I walked in there. I talked to the executive director and she was very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. They're a little bit cheaper. The facility itself was very nice. It had a nice community room and a dining room. They had a nice setting on the back side of the building overlooking a pond. It was in a residential area. The other thing we liked about Seasons was that it's owned and run by a nonprofit, and they've been around for decades. I like that aspect of it.

– MaryMy mother is very happy at Ecumen Seasons at Apple Valley. The staff has been very good. She's satisfied with the food. She's got a one-bedroom, and I'd rate that a five out of five. She doesn't utilize the amenities very much. She pretty much stays in her apartment, but there is a library. She has her meals in her apartment. They bring meals to her. She has a television and internet in her apartment, so that is very nice. The facility is very well maintained. She seems very, very happy and very satisfied there.
