Assistant Executive Director
As Assistant Executive Director, Becca is responsible for fostering a supportive, value-driven environment where our team feels empowered to provide compassionate, high-quality care for our residents. She bridges organizational leadership with human-centered practices to create a workplace where team members thrive and consequently help our residents do the same. In her role, Becca loves connecting with team members and supporting them in their daily role and career. Nothing makes her happier than hearing laughter in the hallways of Abiitan. She also cherishes the relationships formed with residents during her career, as they have cheered her on in school, in new roles and in starting a family of her own. Originally from Centuria, WI, Becca joined Ecumen in 2017, having developed a deep respect and love for older generations from a young age by living in her grandparents’ home. Before joining Ecumen, she worked in hospice care and often visited Ecumen communities. She chose to make Ecumen her home because of the clear need for more compassionate caregivers in the world.
Becca’s favorite local things to do are visiting the Mill City Farmers Market, walking along the Mississippi River and across the Stone Arch Bridge, and discovering new walking trails to explore. Whether it’s enjoying lunch on the steps of Water Works Park or people-watching in the sun at Gold Medal Park, there’s always something peaceful and energizing about this urban neighborhood.
Away from work, Becca is with her son, who definitely keeps her on her toes! Together, they love being outside as much as possible and spending time with family. Whether it’s soccer practice, a park adventure, or just playing in the backyard, these moments are favorites.
