HOW CAN YOU INSPIRE OTHERS?
PHILANTHROPY - KATHRYN ROBERTS EDUCATION FUND
CREATING A CULTURE OF CONTINUED LEARNING.
In 2021 Ecumen lost a transformational and visionary leader, mentor, and friend, Kathryn Roberts, Ecumen CEO emeritus. The impact she had on our industry was profound and she is deeply missed. In her honor, the Board of Trustees has established our newest endowment fund, the Kathryn Roberts Education Fund.
Honoring a Transformational and Visionary Leader
Education was important to Kathryn as she earned her Ph.D. by the age of 27. She encouraged others to also pursue their education dreams and was committed to helping others succeed in life. Because of Kathryn, we strive to infuse a culture of learning within Ecumen.
“Kathryn was always curious and interested in learning, development and education. She was supportive of helping find the path for each person to be their best selves in whatever they did at Ecumen. Her energy and love continues to inspire me every day!” — Mel Sullivan, Ecumen SVP and Chief People Officer.
"Kathryn was a true servant leader who measured her success by her impact on others."
— Shelley Kendrick, Ecumen President and CEO
